The 2nd annual Festival of Oak this Saturday, October 14, will be one rocking celebration of all things barrel aged. Join us at the tasting room from 2pm to 8pm for an incredible event with some of our wildest beers yet.  To help you get the most out of Saturday’s celebration, here are the details of the event.

All beers are $5 and require the purchase of a special 10 oz tasting glass, which is available for $5 at the check-in booth immediately as you enter. We’ll have two beer tents set up in the parking lot. Tents are cash only, but you can also buy beer tickets at the tasting room bar inside.

The following beers will be on tap in the tasting room:

  • Spontané

  • Silla

  • Vanilla Silla

  • Pash Bash

  • Feelin’ Lucky

  • Amaretto Cherry Feelin’ Lucky

  • Golden HO/RYE/ZON

  • Mirabelle

  • Livid Dreams

  • Amaryllis (barrel aged 6 months)

  • Imperial Dark Farmhouse (barrel aged 1 year)

  • Lightness of Being

  • Coffee Sour

  • Fresh Hop Coolship

  • Gin Tipper’s Grove

  • Cinnamon Tipper’s Grove

We’ll also have two tents in our parking lot, which will have the following on tap:

  • Spontané

  • Vanilla Silla

  • Amaretto Cherry Feelin’ Lucky

  • Fresh Hop Coolship

  • Coffee Sour

  • Gin Tipper’s Grove

Tent’s will be open until beer runs out or 8:00 pm.

Bottle Release:

We’ll be selling bottles of Spontané and Spontané: Bramble, our first coolship beers that are ready for release. These 100 percent spontaneously fermented beers were inoculated overnight in our custom-built coolship and then aged in oak barrels for more than a year. Bottles are $18 for Spontané and $20 for Bramble Spontané with a limit of 2 of each per person.

Bottles will be released at 2pm at the tasting room bar counter, where cash and credit cards are accepted. All limits are subject to change, at anytime, without advanced warning. No reservations, online sales, or phone sales. All bottles are first come, first serve.

Food:

The Fabled Rooster will be doing a pig roast at the event, and will also offer potato salad, sesame ginger coleslaw, vegetarian baked beans, fried zucchini, sweet potato fries, and mac and cheese.
